The Sovereignty of God (Complete and Unabridged) Arthur Pink

Hardcover with sewn binding. Complete and unabridged. Brand new direct from the Publisher. The Sovereignty of God by Arthur W. Pink is one of the most comprehensive studies on God’s decrees that are based on scripture alone; Sola Scriptura. Pink begins with a question in which every person needs to answer, and more especially those of the household of faith. “Who is regulating the affairs on this earth today—God or the Devil?” Pink continues with great insight and scripture references concerning God’s sovereignty in Operation, Salvation and Reprobation. He also addresses Human Responsibility, our attitude toward His Sovereignty and reflects on the Difficulties and Objections to this doctrine. In time past, present and future when practical preaching replaces doctrinal exposition of Scripture, an evil malady occurs and mankind reverts back to the lawless, listless and lustful condition whereby man determines what is good and evil; a denial of the Divine Rights of the triune God as expressed in ALL of scripture, starting with Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God . . .” This evil malady ceases when the Creator and Sustainer of Life is exalted to and revered as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Man being relegated to his rightful place, in the dust. The doctrine of the sovereignty of God restores the Divine Rights of the Creator and revitalizes the Christian, which motivates him to serve and take dominion in every area of thought and life; the realization that “. . . If God be for us, who can be against us?” We are living in a time in which these words need to be our battle cry! As you go forward remember, “For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist” (Col. 1:16–17).God’s Sovereignty is the very basis of Christian thinking, a presupposition in which every area of thought and life begin and end with God. A value desperately needed today giving God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit their glory due.

"DEVOTION" /// by author Adam Makos \ Valor Studios is excited to offer the movie tie-in paperback of Devotion with an autographed bookplate signed by Medal of Honor awardee, Thomas Hudner, Jr., and by our founder, author Adam Makos! (We also have an autographed 1st Edition hardcover for sale in our Ebay store.) Our family (Valor Studios is owned and operated by the Makos Family) have been fortunate enough to work with some of America's greatest military heroes over the past 20 years. Tom Hudner was one of them. We sponsored his return trip to North Korea in 2013, and Adam and Bryan Makos brought the Devotion book out in 2015. They worked tirelessly to bring Devotion to theaters, even introducing actor Glen Powell to Tom Hudner in the hopes of accelerating a film before he passed away in 2017. We are beyond excited to see Tom and Jesse immortalized on screen and hope Devotion brings more attention to the heroes of the Forgotten War. To learn more about Valor check out the "Why Valor Studios" section below. /// Includes COA, ships bubble wrapped and boxed \ ABOUT THE BOOK: Devotion tells the inspirational story of the U.S. Navy's most famous aviator duo, Lieutenant Tom Hudner and Ensign Jesse Brown, and the Marines they fought to defend. A white New Englander from the country-club scene, Tom passed up Harvard to fly fighters for his country. An African American sharecropper's son from Mississippi, Jesse became the navy's first black carrier pilot. Devotion takes us soaring overhead with Tom and Jesse, and into the foxholes with the Marines as they battle a North Korean invasion. As the fury of the fighting escalates and the Marines are cornered at the Chosin Reservoir, Tom and Jesse fly, guns blazing, to try and save them. When one of the duo is shot down behind enemy lines and pinned in his burning plane, the other faces an unthinkable choice: watch his friend die or attempt history's most audacious one-man rescue mission. A tug-at-the-heartstrings tale of bravery and selflessness, Devotion asks: How far would you go to save a friend? ABOUT THE VETERAN SIGNER: CAPTAIN TOM HUDNER (MEDAL OF HONOR): (contains movie and book spoilers!) A graduate of the Naval Academy, Tom flew combat missions with VF-32 in the fall of 1950. Despite being previously warned to avoid any "Hollywood rescue heroics," Tom crash-landed his F4U to try and save his wingman, Jesse Brown, just one day after the moment shown in our art print "Off to the Chosin" (also for sale in our Ebay store signed by Tom and his fellow pilots). For his actions, he was awarded the Medal of Honor in 1951. In 2013, Tom returned to North Korea on a mission to find Jesse's remains. While he was unable to visit the Chosin Reservoir area, his visit impressed Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who ordered his military to "find Jesse Brown." Tom passed away in 2017.
