This is a Lot of two books: (1) Gemstones of the World by Walter Schumann, hardbound with dustcover, 1977, and (2) Rocks, Minerals and Fossils of the World, by Chris Pellant with Roger Phillips, Paperback, first edition 1990. There was a former owner's inscription in the paperback book, which has been cut out, as shown in the photos. There is a tiny bit of browning on the outside of both books due to shelfwear. There are no interior markings, creases, folds, or bends in either book. The dust cover of the Schumann book has a tiny tear on the top back, as shown in the photos.
